Yes to summer, yes to haircare

Summer is the time to enjoy a well-deserved holiday, but don’t forget to look after your hair. Sun, chlorine, sweat and salt are external agents which greatly affect your hair, especially bleached or tinted hair.
In summer we should protect our hair to avoid reaching September with dehydrated, broken, bleached hair.

SUN YES, BUT NOT DIRECT SUN

Direct sun rays punish the hair fibre by leading it to extreme dehydration, so cover your head with a hat which, in addition to protecting your hair, will prevent it from losing its natural humidity and the skin on your face will also appreciate it.
If you don’t like hats, we encourage you to put your hair up elegantly with a headband or headscarf for a chic look, thus preventing your hair from losing too much water.
Take advantage of leave-on masks which will act more deeply, thanks to the heat of the sun which opens the cuticle.

Wash or rinse

In summer we often have to remove salt or chlorine, but avoid using shampoo every time and try to rinse either with plenty of water or use a soft, neutral shampoo Your scalp will thank you due to not becoming so greasy. Remember that when washing your hair, natural oils are lost which causes oil production to be stimulated. To dry or not to dry

In summer, avoid as far as possible straighteners and hair dryers. Air dry and let your hair dry naturally. To avoid frizz, use leave on masks or oils to nourish and keep it hydrated.
